Kibbutz Regavim was established in 1947 by immigrants from North Africa and Italy who
were members of the "Habonim Dror" movement. The members who emigrated from North
Africa, training in Kibbutz Beit Oren and the Beit Hashita. The members who emigrated from
Italy, training in Kibbutzim Givat Brenner and Degania A. The group moved to Kfar Saba for
more training and not long after stalled next Kibbutz Galed in Ramot Menashe area.
In 1949, the kibbutz moved to his permanent point. The name of the settlement symbolizes his
connection to the land of the country.
Kibbutz Regavim is located on the route of the Ada River flowing from Ramot Menashe
levels in the east to the upper pools of the coastal Aquifer in the Caesarea area in the west.
The view visible from the kibbutz water pool includes the University of Haifa in the north to
the southern sea hand to the city of Hadera.
Around the kibbutz there is Nature. The Jewish holidays are celebrate together as a
community, as well as cultural events such as Pool parties, concerts and other activities. The
kibbutz pool includes a sports area in which a football and basketball courts...
Work places on the Kibbutz:
1. Nurseries and Kindergartens (ages 0-6): assisting the staff with the everyday tasks
of cleaning, feeding and playing with the children. Running activities with an
individual child or with a group of children.
2. Informal education - hours after school and on vacations at the children's home in
the kibbutz (ages 6 to 18) - assisting the staff with the everyday tasks and activities.
Working with an individual child or with a group of children. Help with
housekeeping. Close and professional training throughout the year from the director
of informal education and the staff.
3. Horticulture and Gardening - assisting the kibbutz staff with the maintenance and
care of gardens, green spaces, and agricultural areas. Tasks may include planting,
watering, pruning, and general upkeep of the landscape. Volunteers work closely with
the horticulture team and receive guidance and training throughout their placement.- Volunteer accommodations: One apartment for 2–3 roommates, including one bathroom and toilet, and a small kitchenette. A second apartment for 2–3 roommates, including one bathroom and toilet. A shared dining room, fully equipped kitchen, and TV area for both apartments. Outdoor seating area. The rooms are furnished and equipped with air conditioning. The room is equipped with WiFi, a washing machine and a dryer.
- Facilities of the kibbutz Facilities of the kibbutz: The dining room is not active Volunteers receive pocket money for purchasing food and are responsible for their own meals during the day. There is an option to receive a hot lunch provided by the kibbutz, subject to coordination with the kibbutz.
- The kibbutz has a swimming pool (open during the summer season), a basketball court and a football field, a members’ club, a second-hand shop, and food trucks that operate several days a week.
- The kibbutz is located approximately a 10-minute drive from the Binyamina train station, with a train ride of about 40 minutes to Tel Aviv or Haifa.

- Kibbutz Regavim accepts volunteers between the ages of 18 and 30.
The minimum volunteer period at Kibbutz Regavim is 6 months.

The placement in the kibbutz is decided only following an interview between the KPC staff and the volunteer, upon his arrival to our office in Tel Aviv. We are unable to commit a placement in the kibbutz in advance.
